Boutique senior living community, Lumia Mequon, opens in Mequon
Locally-operated community features 68-units of assisted living and memory care
MEQUON, WISCONSIN (June 21, 2023) – Matter Development and Three Leaf Partners announced today that they have completed the construction of Lumia Mequon, a 68-unit boutique assisted living and memory care community, in partnership with local operator Koru Health. Principals of the firms have now partnered to build or operate six senior living communities, including Lumia Mequon. The one and two-story community is situated on 4.8-acres at 11900 N Port Washington Road in Mequon. The community features 68-units for seniors, including assisted living, memory care, and a unique specialty care suite called Aperi Care Suites. In addition to upscale interior design and finishes, amenities include the Canopy Club Room, an imported Italian pizza oven, a spa and fitness center with equipment specially designed for seniors, and a bocce ball courtyard.
The brand of Lumia Mequon includes elements important to local seniors. The Lumia tagline is ‘Illuminating Senior Living’ which is representative of a mission to make seniors feel welcome, actively engaged, and illuminated. The logo is the “Lumia Star”, inspired by the traditional quilt and barn art that is synonymous with the rural history of Mequon, and represents light as it transitions through and illuminates the facets of a precious stone. A week-long Grand Opening celebration will be held at the site July 24th – 28th. The event will showcase the remarkable features of Lumia Mequon, including its elegant and comfortable living spaces, state-of-the-art amenities, and innovative assisted living and memory care programming.
