With how entertaining and informative The Morning Blend is, we were incredibly fortunate to have our representative Andy Lange invited to talk about the inspiring story of Lumia Mequon.
As president of Koru Health and a dementia care expert, Andy highlights the ways that Lumia Mequon’s boutique and hospitable living environment is conducive to the happiness and wellbeing of residents. From art therapy to a new bocce-ball court, Lumia is equipped to maximize the physical, mental, and emotional health of all residents. The promotion of social interaction and a prudent, outcome-based approach to resident service is what separates Lumia Mequon from other senior communities. The building’s exceptional location, highly skilled staff, and even the tech packages (which Lumia offers to timely applicants) elevate the Lumia experience well above the norm. As the construction of the Lumia Mequon campus comes to fruition, we offer weekly open houses, and free tours. As Andy says on the show, the momentous project of Lumia Mequon’s development was only possible thanks to the time and dedication of workers and staff, who are predominantly from Mequon, Wauwatosa, and surrounding communities.
Andy says it best – “You have to be committed to the community, or else you’re not going to succeed.” Giving back to the community of Mequon is exactly what Lumia Mequon strives to accomplish.
