Best community in Wisconsin. The team works hard to give the residents their best day in and day out. Plus the chef is amazing who knew senior living was so GOURMET.

Since moving to Wisconsin I’ve worked with other agencies and I can say with complete honesty and gratitude that Lumia is the best. The level of care, support and attentiveness that is provided for the residents and families is insurmountable; not to mention that the facility/grounds are absolutely beautiful. The amenities and activities available make the residents feel at home. I love it here.

Lumia is one of the most uplifting and well run assisted-living and memory care facilities I have been at. After spending hundreds of hours at four other facilities who Cared for my father I saw and learned a lot. He is now passed and I go to Lumia weekly to support a friend with music therapy. The friendliness and presentness of their staff, along with ongoing uplifting and engaging activities, really stands out. The cleanliness and overall community feeling also strikes me as high level in this tough day and age of elder care.

I had not seen Lumia before my mother moved in (I live in a different state). I was delighted to enter a facility that was new, filled with light and welcoming. The staff has been great, even adding the game of rummiqub at my mother’s request. She takes part in exercise class, gets complimentary manicures and goes to Thursday happy hours (which I also enjoy when I visit). Thank you, Lumia for the care and respect you give to our mother.

I want to thank the staff at Lumia for the extra special care they have given my mother as she nears 95 years of age! We planned a birthday party having 95 people show up at the Canopy Room at Lumia. The facility was clean, bright and beautifully decorated for fall with pillows and accent blankets and other fall decor. Staff was available upon our arrival offering help and assistance. Our mother was pampered with a trip to the salon on a Sunday morning so she could look her best. Packer fans were able to watch the game while celebrating also! Thank you for all you do! You are becoming like family!

Lumia just celebrated their 1 year anniversary with a wonderful celebration for all of their residents, families and staff today! It truly was a wonderful event from the awesome band to the scrumptious treats and the festive atmosphere. It was like a lovely family reunion, staff residents and families sharing a wonderful afternoon together. Thank you Lumia!

extraordinary experience with this facility, moving my father here from Michigan to Wisconsin. They were very kind, accommodating, high, touch, and Lumia is extremely clean, professional, and activities galore. They truly make it a home away from home I highly recommend they truly make it a home away from home.

My mother was lucky enough to be one of the first residents at Lumia Mequon. I am one of her seven children and we have all been bowled over by the wonderful, caring attention she has received since moving in. We resisted putting our 93-year-old mother in assisted living, but now wish we had done so sooner. Physically, they have taken care of her every need, and in addition have given her the mental stimulation that she needs. My son, after a recent visit to her, said “I can’t believe how nice it is there!“ And my mother loves the food.😊 We highly recommend Lumia Mequon!

This team of professionals has embraced the concept of providing care with dignity at various levels of need. Lumia allows its residents to feel part of a community, and even as one member may transition to memory care, the fluidity that the other spouse can continue to engage with both (in assisted living and memory care) is amazing. They may be new, but their collective expertise in both leadership and caregivers allows them to put new ideas and concepts into production. Because they are a newer facility the residents in memory care typically have just transitioned from independent or assisted living, which allows for a lot of high functioning people with dementia to interact safely with needed structure and creative activities. A definite plus is that the facility feels like you’re visiting a resort, which encourages family and friends of all ages (not scary or depressing, especially for grandchildren) to visit and spend time with their loved ones. Thank you Lumia for taking the leap and transforming how we care for our aging population!

I toured many senior living centers and Lumia Mequon stands out as a premier place for seniors needing extra care as they age. Not only are the facilities beautiful, but the professionalism of the staff is outstanding. My loved one is getting individualized care and treated with respect. A variety of activities are offered to support his physical and mental wellness. The entire staff appears happy and I feel they really do care!
